Synopsis
As we learned in Season One, there are only eighteen other cases of amnesia similar to Dr. Fanti’s in the world. But at least one of them has managed to fully recover his lost memory: a Swiss lawyer who, while watching a sail on Lake Lugano, has regained all his lost memories.
The third season of Doc will open with Andrea meeting his own sail.
For him tough, it won’t be a visual detail, but a sonic one: the notes of a vinyl record – which in the years erased by amnesia he used to play on the record player in his study after the hardest days of work – come back to envelop him, now that he’s back where he belongs, and kidnap him out of time, in a shocking déjà vu.
In the first season, we chronicled Doc’s discovery of how the present is different from what he thought. In season two, we saw his struggle against the pandemic and to protect his future and that of his loved ones. In season three, we’ll tackle the toughest challenge: the chance to – maybe – regain his lost memory, and face a past different from what he’s been told. And then starting again from the one truly essential thing: treating patients in order to cure himself.
