Synopsis
Jacob‘s favourite son, Joseph, is sold as a slave by his envious brothers to a convoy of traveling Ishmaelites who take him to Egypt. In Egypt, Joseph is bought by Potiphar, the leader of Pharaoh’s army.
Despite resisting Potiphar’s wife’s advances, he is found guilty of attempting to violate her virtue and imprisoned. His cellmates are two special prisoners: the Pharaoh’s butler and the Pharaoh’s baker, who are accused of having stolen the bracelet of the great Sun God Ra.
By interpreting their dreams, Joseph resolves the case and is thus invited to enter the Pharaoh’s court.
