Synopsis
Everyone loves Christmas. Everyone except Gianna. It’s not the crib, the lights, the presents. It’s that Christmas, ever since she was thirty, has had it in for her. Christmas judges her. Christmas asks her (and asks us): where are you in your life? Gianna honestly thought she was well on her way, three friends, a nursing job she likes. But Christmas doesn’t give a damn about your job. At Christmas everything is about couples and family.
And Gianna has no family of her own. And so she makes a promise: at Christmas Eve dinner she will arrive accompanied. But by whom? She has 24 days to find out. 24 days up and down the bridges of Chioggia, the calli of Venice and one of the most iconic places in the Marca: the castle of San Salvatore, between blind dates, colossal mistakes, nights of sex and crying with friends. 24 days to understand that it is not Christmas that judges her, but herself. To discover that love is everywhere, you just have to open your eyes and accept life for what it is: a beautiful mess.
