Synopsis
Tilly, a Jugoslavian child, manages thank to Alex‘s help, a friend of her mother to leave her country ripped by the civil war and to reach Paris.
Alex should leave the child with a Slavic exiled family, but when he gets to France he finds out they have left to South America and therefore decides to temporary keep the child with him. Tilly’s arrival causes confusion within Alex’s well-off family, raising not only feellings of solidarity and brotherhood, but also distrust and old prejudices.
