First-look Teaser of “Devils – Second Season”

Sky today releases the first-look teaser of the highly-anticipated second season of DEVILS, the high-stakes Sky original financial thriller starring Alessandro Borghi and Patrick Dempsey set to debut in April on Sky and streaming service NOW.

Devils is a thrilling story of power airing in all the Sky territories and set in the world of global finance, produced by Sky Italia and Lux Vide with Big Light Productions in collaboration with Sky Studios, Orange Studio and OCS. International sales are handled by NBCUniversal Global Distribution, which on behalf of Sky Studios has sold the series in more than 160 territories.

The protagonists of the bestseller The Devils by Guido Maria Brera (published by Rizzoli) are back for an eight-part second season which, through fragments of reality and fictional characters, continues the story of the silent and yet devastating financial war that has been affecting the Western world over the last decade. An underground war, fought with the most powerful of weapons: finance.

Alongside the two leads, Alessandro Borghi as Massimo Ruggero, who at the end of the first season was appointed CEO of the New York-London Investment Bank, and Patrick Dempsey as Dominic Morgan, one of the most influential figures in the world of international finance, there are also Malachi Kirby (The Race – Corsa mortaleRadici), Pia Mechler (Everything Is Wonderful), Paul Chowdhry (Live at the ApolloSwinging with the Finkels) who reprise their roles of Pirates, Ruggero’s loyal team of traders, and Lars Mikkelsen (The KillingSherlockHouse of Cards) playing again Daniel Duval, founder of Subterranea.

Season two will see the regular cast joined by Li Jun Li (Damages, Minority Report, Wu Assassins) who plays Wu Zhi, new Head of Trading of NYL, Joel de la Fuente (Law & Order, The Man in the High Castle) as Cheng Liwei, new member of the Board and Clara Rosager (The Rain, Il concorso) as Nadya Wojcik, Dominic’s new brilliant protégé.

The new episodes will be directed by Nick Hurran (SherlockDoctor WhoFortitudeAltered Carbon) and Jan Maria Michelini (I Medici, DOC- Nelle tue mani) getting back behind the camera for this second season. Writers include Frank Spotnitz (Leonardo, Medici, The X-Files, The Man in the High Castle), James Dormer (Strike Back, Medici), Naomi Gibney and Caroline Henry.
