Lux Vide has been awarded a 3-star rating by the FIA Road Safety Index, becoming the first audiovisual company in the world to receive this recognition, reserved for leading industrial players that stand out for their concrete commitment to road safety.
Valerio Fiorespino, COO and interim CEO of Fremantle Italy Group, commented:
“As part of the Fremantle family, Lux Vide is a leading audiovisual production company in Italy and Europe. In our line of work, our vehicles are constantly on the move, often under pressure, day and night. In this context, the safety of our talents and troupes – and everyone sharing the road with them – has always been one of our top priorities.”
Corrado Trionfera, Head of Production at Lux Vide, added:
“Being the first Production Company to receive this award is not only an honor, but also a responsibility: we hope this recognition helps bring more visibility to a crucial issue, inspiring other companies in the industry to follow the path of road safety.”
Willem Groenewald, FIA Secretary General for Automobile Mobility and Sustainability, commented on the recognition:
“It is inspiring to see how Lux Vide has implemented strong policies to protect everyone involved in its audiovisual productions. It sets a clear example, showing that every sector can commit to road safety by measuring the footprint of their transport activities, promoting safe behaviour at the wheel, and ensuring high-quality safety standards both from contractors and across operations.”
A special thanks goes to Guida Sicura ACI SARA: Lux Vide was able to achieve this recognition also thanks to the safe driving courses held at the ACI-SARA Safe Driving Center in Vallelunga.
